Aliens will attack you. Grab something to defend yourself!

Around your base are many objects you can pickup. Build barricades, attack with them or even throw them at enemies. Each object has unique stats (damage, health, weight, size).

You can plant turrets on those objects, and they vary too. But turrets cost coins. Collect coins by defeating enemies.

Controls:

WASDMove
SpaceJump
EPickup / Drop item
LMBAttack with item
Hold RMB + Press LMBThrow item
QBuild or Upgrade a turret on an object

This game was made for the Godot Wild Jam #89.  No wildcards were used.

Next Planned Updates:
  • Add information about the turrets in the interface
  • Pausable game
  • Balancing
  • More Objects, Enemies and Levels
Known Bugs:
  • Some physics jank like props getting launched when the player walks on them.
  • Props can fall through the floor if the player picks them up, looks downwards and releases them.
  • If you want to quit the game and your mouse cursor is still hidden, press alt + tab.
Game Jam Version:

The game jam version is available to download for windows at the bottom of this page. The controls are different compared to the current version of this game, they're written in the readme-file. I've kept any bugs in, just adjusted the credits a bit. Due to this version running on windows directly, the performance will be better.

I love the art and the music! Even tho the game is hard to me. But this art and music in a more relaxed game would be an absolute hit!

Even without defending my base successfully I really like to look at the game. It’s funny to look at those little aliens! And the music fits that impression!

And as a side note, the credit table here on itch is also really nice to see!

Thanks a lot! The game was really rushed and last minute changes made the game too hard unintentionally. In that regard it was the right call to make a funny losing screen atleast.
